The dock edge to which the product should be attached is flat. The
dock edge should be a minimum of 2½" in width.

The dock fendering system is manufactured under the strict quality
control of ISO 9002.
PART 2 PRODUCT
2.01 System Description
The dock
fender must be fitted to the dock edge by a rigid 2 3/8" PVC
fixing rail, which conceals all fixings when fully installed.
The outer coating of the dock fender is marine grade PVC of
thickness 1/16" containing a UV inhibitor and anti-fungicide.
Inside the coating, the layer of closed cell foam insulation
is of thickness 3/8". The centre of the dock fender contains
1 of 3/8" X ½" polyethylene tube and around it 22 of 0.212
X 0.312" polyethylene tubes arranged in a concentric configuration.
A side of the dock fender shall contain a 2" X 1/16" flat
insert between the foam insulation and the outer coating.
This insert allows the dock fender to be fitted to the fixing
rail. The dock fender shall be a total diameter of 2½".
2.02 Fixing
DockSafe® fixing rail should be installed with the following:
Soft Wood:
No. 10,1 ½" A4 stainless steel counter sunk screws and 1" washers.
Hard Wood:
No. 10,1" A4 stainless steel counter sunk screws and 1" A4 washers.
Concrete:
3/16" X 1¼" counter sunk self driller (3C32) screws and 1" A4 washers.
A pilot hole of diameter 5/32" must be drilled for the insertion
of each screw.
Steel:
¼" X 1 ¼" counter sunk self driller (38.3T) screws and 1" A4 washers.
A pilot hole of diameter 5/32" must first be drilled before
the insertion of each screw.
2.03 Warranty
Manufacturer warrants all components of the DockSafe® fendering
system to be free from defects in material workmanship for a
period of one year from the date of delivery to the purchaser.
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for injury/damage
to persons/craft.
